Here's the deal. I'm working on the new shopping site. It's not completed and is in the "new contruction" state but I need to know if it works and get your feedback about it. I've just listed some Kagas Katnes for $10 which is a good price and they'll make very nice and unique stocking stuffers for your friends. See if you can work your way through the maze and buy one.
If you really don't want or need a Kagas Katne and will buy one to help me test the system I'll give you a ten dollar credit against your next purchase of a full size khukuri -- IF you remind me!!!

No credit card, and Al already sent me a KK, but the site looks GOOD!! Very nice looking work, for someone who was yelling for help a few posts back :D

this site isnt working for me....i cannot access it using internet explorer 5.0 on a macintosh...i don't know what the problem is...ill try using netscape.....

Just tried it out, Uncle, and it works great! I'd make it default to secure check out only though. I don't know of any browser that won't work with secure check out. That will protect your customers, like us!

other than not having a credit card

Site looks great, even better than smoothsale version. I would second Hank's comment about defaulting to secure version rather than give folks a choice. Why take any risks!!!

Uncle, How does the payment type: "Personal Checks" work? Does it use a check number and withdraw the money from my bank account?

BTW: The site works great with Windows 98SE and IE 5.0.

And nothing's going on in the new store. I got there okay. Will try to get around tomorrow to see if you're working on it.
I didn't see the default security, but would add my 'yea' to the rest.:)

Not gonna give a cc # to an unsecure website. The secure ones worry me enough.:eek:
 
I was nosing around the site and noticed that a couple of the pictures were photos of blems. Not really good for those who are new to the site or the world of khuks.
 
Just tried looks great, I really like the way you build it.
I would like the pics when you click on them bigger and I tried to order a knife online using credit card payment I was hoping COD to be the correct one? anyway it did not look like it was working, so if you find an order for an Chiruwa Ang Khola in your system ;)
 
Many thanks for great help and special thanks to those who placed an order. I've not been to the store yet this AM. Now I'm faced with trying to learn how it processes the orders and how to fill them.

Yes, I did use some pix of blems. They were available and I was and still am in a hurry. But as those who know from personal experience our blems are 95 to 99 percent perfect and if anybody can see the blem in the pix let me know and I'll try to change it.

Many thanks for the input regarding security. I'll take a look and see if we can make it mandatory rather than optional.

I'll finish up the forum and then hop over to the store and see what I'm up against and get back with any or all info.
