Help Me Choose a Good Blackberry Machete

I'll second what Foxx said, just get a decent 18" thin machete with a sheath. Sharpen it well. That's all you need for blackberry picking (I have several gallons of blackberries in the freezer).

How about a blackberry hook?? The french for these is coupe ronces, and they are still made and sold in France, also in Italy (although the shape is slightly different) - single or double bladed version with a long shoulder to the blade are available on eBay.fr for about 20 euros....
