Help me choose a new EDC- benchmade or spyderco?

Amongst the knives I EDC, either a Mini-Grip ($56 at NGK, so close) or a Delica 4 are most-often in my pocket. Hard to go wrong with either, IMO.

They are both good brands, and can be addictive. :) I lean toward the Spyderco brand, but have both. The Spyderco's tend to end up in my pocket more than 90% of the time if that helps. Welcome to the forums, and enjoy!

The Centofante III is an excellent knife with great fit and finish.

The Ambush (in my opinion) is junk. I agree with the folks that say the Vex is a better knife even if it's made in China. The Ambush is made in Taiwan.

The Centofante III is made in Seki-City Japan and has perfect F&F and lockup. Probably THE best slicer around.

If you want to stay around $50 you could get a Benchmade Mini-Griptilian, or a Spyderco Delica 4.

So In this order I would say this:

1. Spyderco Centofante III
2. Benchmade Mini-Griptilian
3. Spyderco Delica 4

Enjoy.... :)
