Help me choose an EDC

Could anyone recommend a good custom maker? I checked out the makers here, but it seems they lean towards slip joints. I'd like more of a larger, tactical sort of folder.

R.J. Martin makes great knives. I think you would do well with a Sebenza though.

I ended up ordering a small Sebenza from KnifeArt, I hope they're a reputable dealer.

I'm almost sure you will like it. It doesn't really appeal to me but I recognise the quality.
It's too late now, but I wanted to give an interesting alternative with the same precise fit and finish as the Sebenza, but more gentle in style: a Swiss-made Klötzli, which is really at custom quality level. For example this one:

I also have Spyderco knives for EDC....I have a Spyderco Endura 4 with G-10 handles and 4" blade, Spyderco Sage with carbon fiber handles an 3" blade...both in SV30 steel that i bought from knifecenter.com....I have a Lone Wolf Longhorn with 3.5" blade and SV30 steel..I bought it from yourcornerstore.com. But my best carry is a Strider SMF CC with a 4" blade, which i love...Great blade steel SV30, the blade has rock solid lockup and is one of the strongest folders that i own. I bought it from Knife Art Custom Knives...you can find them for around $475.00 unless you get the CC or GG which are about $550.00...but are worth the money!!!!!
