Help me Choose. BK7 or SRK ?

If you can, invest in the BK9.

The way things are going, soon this will be a moot question.

I've been wondering about that. The handle on my SRK seems to be breaking down as well. I thought maybe I got something on it that I shouldn't have, but perhaps it wasn't my fault. Kind of makes you wonder about those guns that are coming out with Kraton overmolding on the grips. Like the Taurus 24/7. Screw that noise. But I digress.

I'd take the BK7 if you can find it. It may become somewhat of a rarity with time. If you care about such things. There are a bazillion SRKs in this world. The SRK sheath is a lot better, though.
 
BK-7's are getting harder and harder to find. This week, it took me five vendors before I found one in stock at a good price.

Still, that's the route I'd go. Micarta scales can still be found for the Beckers.
