So, I am now besotted with the Military and want to get more of them. Talk about bang for the buck!
The OG military is one of my favorite Spydercos. I always wanted a tip up version so when the Military 2 came out, I was sold! I don’t mind the compression lock and the M2 keeps most of the original profile. Hard to beat the big blade, slim carry, and low weight. I’ve got the Micarta CruWear PM2 and Para 3, but haven’t purchased the bigger version yet. Congrats on your new acquisition!

So, I received my Military CruWear and so far its great! Top notch all round. My first micarta knife from Spyderco. They were very pale at first, almost white, but I added some oil to them and that brought out some of the micarta colouring. I see it can pick up denim dye quite easily too.

I will say the micarta is very comfy and warm in the hand. Much prefer it to any other scale material. G10 and carbon fiber varieties are good too. Don't like metal scales at all.
