I think i caught the gist here, so i voted Knafs because of the depth of their duckrope, and because they're slightly cheaper.

What’s wrong with you. We’re talking about somebody else’s money here. Do we have to spell out the meaning of the term ‘enabling’ for you? We pride ourselves in not talking our fellow members out of spending money. And if they’re already determined to spend money, we don’t talk them out of spending more. If that’s not in the rules, then by God it should be.

And somebody ate all my Cheesy Poofs.

My bad. Vote changed to "All of the above."

Pocket Fixed Blade.

Recently, I stopped carrying a Hinderer and a Spartan . Carried them for over 3 years. Now, I carry a pair of Buck 662's.

To answer your question: go with something from Microtech.

You haven't given us a whole lot to go on, but based on what you said you like, I think you'd really enjoy a Protech Malibu. The We Knife Reiver and Rike Baidi also have a similar profile to the 940, and Arcform was pretty much that as well. They recently closed down, so there might be some clearance deals out there.

K.I.S.S.
Don't buy a brick
Or carry one neither
Make sure its usable
And use it silly
Unless you just want to look at it, shine it incessantly and smile at your reflection

I've tried the Reiver twice. Both detents were far too soft. If that got fixed, the model would be one of my all-time favourites.

Save up and buy a Sebenza.

If you prefer a flipper, save up and buy an Arno Bernard iMamba.

I don't like Benchmade or Microtech as companies, so I struggle to vote. I've never held a Knafs.

But if I had to choose one from your list, I do like my MSI. (I bought it before my issue with Microtech. )

If I had Knafs local to me, I would be eager to give that a try. Sounds like fun.

I have recently gotten a WE Bougie Banter and freakin love it. Could be bigger. But was designed by the Knafs fella, I think.

Let’s see. I vote none of the above! Instead try out a Les George, McNees, Hinderer, Strider, Spartan Harsey, ZT, Emerson. If you want something more run of the mill then Spyderco!

THIS! Once you step it up to any of these you’ll be liquidating the rest to buy more! It’s the way!
