a new lanyard color for my two new waves Spyderco Enduras.
Currently I have hot, bright a$$ neon glow in the dark pink lanyards on them. Why? First of all there's an irony hidden there that makes me chuckle. Pink lanyards, lightning fast opening razor sharp knife...hehehe....
Secondly (and a major factor) is that it really does pacify the sheeple. I once did this with a MT UDT while I was working security. The knife went from deadly scary hideout weapon to a cute little cutting tool overnight.
A woman that was previously terrified of it asked where to get one!
On the negative side, they look ridiculous if I'm careless and leave two little pink pigtails hanging out of my pockets, and they do show up pretty brightly even when they are tucked in.
If I go to black...it'll be lower profile in my pocket, but pacify the sheeple less and be harder to find when dropped.
So, what do you think? black or pink?
Mikey whose secure enough in his manhood to post about pink lanyards signing off...
