I like the 0450 a lot and carry it often. However, there is a significant hot spot issue with the bump at the bottom/back of the handle. I consider the 0450 to be in competition with the Benchmade 940. To me, they are functionally equal but the 940 wins ergonomics by a long shot.



To answer this question, the 0900 is my choice overall if the short handle works for you.

Where is the bump/hotspot on the back of the handle on the 0450? My old 940 kinda has a bump....I think..

Misunderstood, yes the 0450 can be frustrating with the bump on back of the bottom handle portion for bigger hands. The design is not for large hands and leaves even average size hands with a commited hand grip. My hands lock right in, which I do like for the most part

The 0450 hot spot is at the back on the bottom. For my medium hands that bump falls right into my pinky finger. Placing all fingers in front of the bump feels very cramped. Placing the bump between the pinky and ring fingers feels like the handle is too far rearward in the hand.

I voted 920. I love my 0909 and also loved my 0900 before I gave it to a good friend so I'm sure the 0920 will also be fantastic.

I had a 0095bw and it just didn't fit my hand the best. I prefer the 0450 size.
