Help me decide between these two knives

Depends on what I'd be using them for. Vastly different in what the would be good at. I personally prefer the yojimbo just because it's one of the more original knives out there.

This is not a love hate thing, I prefer Spyderco but Benchmade wins out because the blade style offers more versatility for my cutting needs

What will be the use?

For general EDC I am partial to the Yojimbo
It is an excellent knife with great ergos and I really like the hollow grind blade but the tip is fragile

The Adamas will be more versatile and will make a better « hard use » knife but it is very plain

For my use I will pick the Yo2 for sure

I had the mini adamas, great all around use knife. I also had a Yo it's well made but not as versatile. Vote for BM

I'm an admitted Adamas fan. I think I if I were limited to one folding knife, the full size Adamas would be it. If I knew of a length restriction, the Mini would be my choice. It punches well above it's size, and is actually just a bit stouter at the tip than the full size as it doesn't taper as much.

I like the Yojimbo, but it's not as versatile as the MA when it comes to most tasks that I need to do.

I ve not owned either knife. But I ve used folders similar to the Adamas at work. While having a preference for Spydercos in general, the Adamas appears to me to be a more useful knife.

Я всегда буду любит оба ножа, они очень хорошие. The Adamas is more utilitarian, even really thick behind the bevel.
The Yojimbo is more of a self-defense oriented, but really this could be blurry subject. Definitely better slicer than Adamas,
but later is built as a tank. As some suggested, I'd also would go with the Benchmade first and afterwards,
I'd get one wave attachment from 5X5 Combat Solutions (They call it "Pickpocket") for the Yojimbo and carry it with or without another folder in my pocket.
But this is just me, hope you'll find the way, both are great knives IMO.

Having owned neither, I say go for the Yojimbo. It’s unique as hell, and I would take the comp lock on the Spyderco over the Axis lock. That’s personal preference tho….
Or If you need something extremely tough, check out a CS SR1 or even the Recon 1. The Adamas is supposed to be more of a hard use knife, but the Yojimbo looks like it would be slicey, and better for EDC (and self defense).

I own both. I’d take the Spyderco because it’s lighter and thinner. Granted it is wider from edge to spine, but to me that’s fine. I also prefer the hollow grind wharncliffe blade of the Spyderco. The Spyderco is also perfect as a wharncliffe because there isn’t a flipper tab in the way when cutting and the blade hangs below the handle. The Benchmade has a piece of the handle in the way…
