Brass has one other, less well known, advantage over titanium. It is anti-microbial because of the copper in it. Just food for thought with your decision process.
Is there a notable difference in the perceived temperature of the two materials? Brass conducts heat very well whereas titanium does not so I would expect brass to feel colder.
