Help me decide. LT wright GNS vs BHK Buckeye

Hey y’all, I’ve had 2 knives in my shopping cart at DLT and can’t seem to make up my mind.
LT Wright GNS, or the BHK Buckeye, both in Sabre grind. natural micarta.

The GNS is $50 more in A2 and the Buckeye in O1,
The steel isn’t a big factor because I like both. I do like the sheath a bit better on the LT.
The LT is just a smudge longer, and a hint thinner. Other than that I feel like these 2 knives are pretty comparable.
But the BHK handles and blade look alittle better in my eyes, at least in pictures.

I’ve owned a couple BHk knives (patriot scout, highlander, woodsman pro, and maverick scout.) I’ve yet to own an LT.
Has anyone owned or used both? Any big advantages one over the other?
I’m looking for a general woods knife and also edc. (Currently rotate between BRK gunny, Bravo 1 and sometimes my Bravo 1.25)
Thanks so much for any input. Help me spend my money!

Could look into BGM Knives. He's done a few regrinds for me & my next fixie will be from him.

Thank you for the reply, I will keep the ones you listed in mind for the future, but right now I’m just looking to compare the 2 I have listed.

If you just get one, you'll find yourself wondering if you made the right choice. You will make the right choice, either way. I've met both of these guys, and they both make a good knife.

But, if you get both, you'll have 2 really good knives, and no buyer's remorse. And you can decide which is better. Hint: They're both going to be pretty much equal! And that's a good
thing...

Thank you all for the reply’s so far. Any input on one blade shape being superior to the other for any reason?

That would be more about personal preference. As in, where do you like your point? These guys make cutting tools. As long as you're using it for its intended purpose, either should perform exactly the way you would expect a good knife to perform.
But, as a matter of personal preference, I find the aesthetics of the Buckeye more pleasing. Otherwise, they should be interchangeable in their roles.

Thanks justjed, you are right in everything you’ve said. I don’t know why I overthink these things like I do. I think part of my problem is there is very little reviews or feedback on the buckeye from my research. Although the ones out there are good.

It always confuses me why more people across the world dont get more interested in 12c27/13c26/14c28n by Sandvik. Its so versital, performs so well for what it is, and is relatively plentiful/inexpensive for companies to purchase and grind/heat treat large quantities of.

My favorite steel Iv used has been lc200n, which with the exception of not prefect corrosion resistance 14c28n/12c27 are damn near close to it....and wayyyyy less expensive.

People are on a super steel crunch
Finland, Sweden, Norway, are the countries who primarily use these steels, super underrated and top shelf performers, the problem lies in the style of use, if people would just stop wracking at tree trunks, then they will see that these steels are good

I mean, those steals are arguably better for that type of abuse than the majority of steels people are using when they do it. Sandvik steels have excellent toughness. There’s a reason Moras are the number one recommended fixed blade brand. Not just because they’re cheap, but they’re tough as hell.

To OPs question though, you likely will appreciate both equally. The difference in style and steel is negligible, but if you feel drawn to the aesthetics of one over the other go with that. I’ve owned a GNS saber, and like most have stated, there’s no doubt they’re high quality knives. I also love that they don’t buy into the overinflated nonsense that encourages makers to use quarter inch bricks of steel to make knives that sacrifices function for mythological uses. I just didn’t find it suited my preferences enough to keep it though unfortunately.
