Help me decide. LT wright GNS vs BHK Buckeye

The Buckeye is going to take a little re profiling to cut as well as the GNS. The Buckeye is a tank, you’ll never break it, it’s thick behind the edge though. LT has better steel options. Both have excellent fit / finish, lifetime warranty, comfortable in hand and would last a lifetime. What do you plan to do with the knife ? Finer tasks? Carving ? LT hands down. Hunting ? Camp knife for fire prep ? BHK hands down.

Get both and return the one you like least.

Both are excellent, both fill different roles.

That Buckeye processed a terrible frozen pizza like a boss, cut cardboard for days, looks bad ass, zero hot spots. The Buckeye was also lousy at carving until the edge was thinned out. 5/32 stock is perfect for my needs.. 1/8 on GNS might be better for real Bushcraft type tasks - still plenty of spine on 1/8 to beat on.

A2 doesn't rust as easy as O1 . Both tough steels . O1 might be easier to sharpen but A2 probably holds a edge longer . A lot depends on heat treat . I have both O1 and A2 . Prefer A2

Thank you all for the replies. I went with the GNS in a2 steel. Handles feel great with my large hands. Have got it out and used it in the woods some and have also used it in the kitchen. Love it! It’s been on my hip everyday since I got it. My BRK Bravo 1 is a bit jealous right now. The Buckeye is still on my hit list. One day. Thanks y’all!
