Help me decide: Military or Stretch

No, I'm not, but that's due to its lack of a choil and its handle shape. I'm not sure what your point was, the Endura blade is 3mm, same as the Stretch, while the Military is 4mm.

I guess I was thinking about the difference in thickness of the tip between the E4 and Military.

Re: deacon

I can see where you're coming from and frankly I agree. When I don't clip my knives the Stretch (FRN especially) is by far more comfortable and the thin blade works well for most things I do with knives. But my opinion of the Millie still stands, it is superb slicer, rugged construction and lightweight as well. If I could only have one knife it would probably be a Millie. If I could have two the other would be my CF ZDP Stretch ;). You can't go wrong with either.

Well, you went with a good choice. The Millie is large, like the Endura and Salt.
I love ZDP steel though, so I just ordered a Stretch to go with the D2 Millie I've carried for 2 years.

Stretch all the way. The Millie is nice and light and flat, but the Stretch feels much more secure in my hand. Both have great blades and are good cutters.

My biggest problem with the Millie (and the Tenacious) is the IMHO over-sized access cut for the liner lock. When I hold a Millie in a tight hammer grip my fingers always depress the liner slightly causing a little blade wobble. It just doesn't fit my finger / hand dimensions. YMMV
