Help me decide? Two Condor models

Yeah I must've missed the wrist-thick bit the first time I read through it. You definitely made the right choice, KGD. That little bolo looks super stout.
 
If I was going on an extended backpacking trip I think this would be one of my number-one tools! It would pack very well. :)

Can you guys say how fast in the hand the 2 bolos are?
 
I would rate them as moderate. You can swing them nice and fast if you do a rolling snap from the shoulder, especially if you let the weight do the work (think "swing fast--not hard") and they're very responsive in their handling, but they're designed as heavy hitters so they sacrifice a little in the speed department to increase overall blow strength. It's a fine line to walk and they do it well. :)
