I'm looking for two new edc knives, a folder and a fixed.

For the folder:
- prefer to stay under $100
- 3 to 3.5" range
- flippers are very loved but open to other suggestions
- prefer a liner/frame lock, but a good lockback (triad) would work. No axis styles.
- I already have a Kershaw Clash, Cold Steel Gunsite 2, and Kershaw Volt 2.

For the fixed:
- prefer to stay under $100
- would love a CPM blade!
- 2.5 to 3" range
- full tang
- open to any style blade
- I already have and use a CRKT Ryan Plan B, ESEE Izula, and an ESEE 3.

thanks for the assistance and Happy Father's Day to all the great dads on here!

Benchmade nimravus for fixed, spyderco sage 1 or 2 for folder seen one the other day on the bay for $99 w/free shipping but really for even 125 the sage is way more than worth it ,in my opinion one of the best folders you can get period.

I just watched a few videos on the Sage 1, really a nice blade. Never held/used a Spyderco before
but it really is everything that I'm looking for. Thanks for the recommendation!

Is the scrapivore any different/better than an izula?

I wouldn't say better but the Izula is 1095 @ 57 rc while the scrapivaore is SR-101 @ 62-64 rc. The pommel on the izula is a loop you can dangle off your pinky while the scrapivore has a beveled prying pommel. So besides both being small skeletonized knives they're quite different with each having good features. It just depends on what you want. I'm sure either would serve you well.

Spderco Paramilitary 2:
-You can find it under $100 NIB (Don't know if it's Kosher to tell you where but you can)
-Blade length of around 3.5" I think??
-No flipper but opens fast/smooth. Very nice feel to it.
-Has a "Compression Lock" which is sort of like a liner lock on the back. Takes some getting used to but I like it.
-Time for a Spyderco...

...If you don't like the Para then a Gale Bradley can be found for ~120. Carbon Fiber Scales, Liner Lock, 3.5"ish blade.

I think the kershaw S30V blur would be a good choice for the folder. it is about 3.5 inches, has very good edge retention, is very comfortable, rides well in the pocket, has a very nice liner lock, and is assisted. i have disabled the assistance in mine becuase i prefer it as a manual, and it is very nice. it is not a flipper, but has some of my favorite thumbstuds ever.

Do you have a steel preference?

For the fixed, cool option is the Boker Rhino, it comes in g-10 and Stag, very small and prtable

This is the Stag version, well under $100

For the Folder, the recently defunct Lone Wolf knives Blackfoot, is an amazing knife, beautiful, functional, Cryo forged S30V, and if you look around it can still be had for under $100

I have an Izula already and love it and after looking at the Scrpivore, I KNOW I am getting one as well. I still want something a little more substantial, with a handle as well.

I like this one as well, just a hair over 3.5 blade. I need to go to a dealer and hold this and the Sage 1, they both look incredible. Really starting to like Spyderco.
