Help me find a fixed blade

I'm looking for a fixed blade, but cannot find the perfect one.

Looking for this look, handle especially.

But with this blade shape and length (5-6").

The 2nd image would be almost perfect if the handle was modern like 1st image. It's a Case if wondering.

I'd like it all black, CF scales preferably.
 
Halfbreed do those sort of handles with various blade shapes. But they mostly have guards. Which I don't know if that is an issue.


Otherwise i think that handle design is called scalloped. Which might help.

Lots of us Makers can do this.....but
I'm kinda busy, not sure when I'm taking more orders, just kinda holding off until I catch up some ...

David Mary David Mary would rehandle your knife, or make you a new one ....that looks kinda his style they way you want it. I'd look him up

They look interesting, but yeah, the guards take away from the look I'm seeking.

You are being vague with what you Want it for?

I could give you a near dozen uses for a knife, and give you a near dozen different models.

Each of us could.

There are different levels of production.
Some entering mid tech.
Then small batch production
Then custom.


Your price range "should" get you whatever steel you want, whatever handle shape, size, material you want, whatever .... everything, you want.

So the Easy answer is going Custom. Get everything, you want.

Buying production, you would Have to make some compromises....

That's the Fun part about knives. There is a Hundred correct answers!
 
All of what is being asked for here is easily done for me and well under budget.

In fact, on a whim, I just started grinding this just before you posted this thread:

Five inch blade, 3/16" AEB-L, and I do have black marbled carbon fiber in stock.
