Help me find my first Busse...the NMSFNO

Shop around, I'd hate to find out someone price gouged you. Welcome to the forums and the NMSFNO is a fine choice.
 
Thanks guys ^ and great advice. I had a guy a while back (not here) tryto sell me a coated NMSFNO with micarta handle for $550... needless to say, it wasn't happening :)
 
Just be patient, they come up all the time at a fair price on the exchange- or if you need it asap, there are plenty of dealers that can hook you up on the quick. Dont be afraid to look at the SFNO as well as they serve the same purpose and are very similar. Love both myself! Can't go wrong on either. GL and welcome to the great world of Busse! :)
 
I paid 375+ship for my NMSFNO with okuden sheath. Granted, it was in a color combination that makes Susan Boyle look good (green coat, tannish/reddish handles), but when I'm alone in the woods, color is not so important.
Just keep refreshing!
also, it might make it easier to buy a knife on the forum if you buy the basic $10 membership to gain access to PM's.
 
Good deal man! I can't wait to get mine and get out in the woods. After about 6-7 months of snow here in Michigan... it's been a long time coming!
 
While were on the subject of the NMSFNO, would you guys suggest a leather sheath or would a kydex one do just fine for a user knife? I saw one of the members here makes the kydex for around $30.

If you want the best kydex, go with Okuden, you will need to send your knife in to him but the fit will be superb. David Brown (BuyBrown), Mashed Cat and Steelnuts are all good Kydex benders as well. For leather check out Chuddy Bear or Leatherman (Armoralleather)... Although, I'd go with kydex if it's going to be a user.

Right on- I saw Okuden's listings on Ebay for a few Kydex's made for the NMSFNO. They looked nice! I'll look into all those options.
 
Hey Steve, here is to finding the NMSFNO, a great all around knife, and probably the pinnacle if you will only have 1 Busse:thumbup:

Don't kid yourself though, once a NMSFNO is in your hands, you will be plotting on how to get your next Busse! Run, as fast as you can, and never come back here again, or you will never get anything else from your wife every again:eek: :D

We'll folks... it's official.. I FOUND my NMSFNO! Payment sent to my main man Bapple, now comes the torture of waiting for it to arrive! :D

Here is a picture of the NMSFNO that I was able to hook Steve up with. This pic should hold you over till it arrives Steve. Sandstorm G10 with black blade :thumbup:.

This one was just sitting in my safe, brand new and not being used and when I saw Steve's thread here I figured I would do what I can to help him out. The NMSFNO will serve you very well and I am glad to see it going to someone who will put it to good use.

Just don't hate me later when you are searching for your next Busse, and then your next, and then your next, etc etc :D

I will ship it out tomorrow Steve and send you an email then!

I'll be sure to post a pic or two once it arrives and hopefully whenever I find a sheath for it!

I'll have to get a hold of Amy too at some point and figure out what exactly this hog name is you speak of, and how exactly I get incepted :D
 
the NMSFNO popped my busse cherry. it's been an addiction ever since, it took me awhile to finally use it because it was so dern pretty but once I did I have beat the holy hell out of it and it just asks for more. great choice for sure, and remember POST PICS!!!!!!!!!!!
