Help me find the original

Our friends at Mtech have brought out something I like the look of.

But I would like to find the knife that "inspired" this one, if I can. It looks vaguely Busse-ish, and I figure somebody here can help.

What's with that choil?! Is it a midget finger choil or the largest sharpening choil ever?

It is pretty sweet.

Problem is, Mtech is not know for their originality. I was thinking Badger Attack as well, but it does have some resemblance to the ASH1. I've never known Mtech to "pay homage" to something that far up the scale though, so I wanted to see if anybody here might know where this came from.

I guess enough people have had a look to make me believe that this really is something they came up with on their own.

It's rare, but it happens.

Maybe I'll stop by the flea market again next Sunday, and see if I can hustle the fella down under $15....
