So I know that Ganzo copies a lot of very popular knives. I found a Ganzo that I think looks really good and would like to know if anyone knows what they are copying or if this is actually an original design. The Ganzo is the g7451-cf

Maybe a 908bk-1501? It might just be the ripped off axis lock and carbon fiber making my mind go there.

I'll start by narrowing it down ...until somebody can come in and give you the model number. It is based off a Benchmade with an axis lock.

Wow, poor, poor form! Not only linking to a non forum sponsor, but a counterfeiter too! :thumbdn: :thumbdn: :thumbdn:

No big deal. Personally, I would have copied their photo, uploaded it to my photobucket account (thereby claiming it as my own) and posted it.

It's actually quite a big deal (and I'm pretty sure it's against the rules). The OP should have done what you suggested, or something similar.

The HK knife is a sweet blade, G10 scales with D2 steel. Ganzo proves once again that they're the pond scum of knife makers.

Directly copied from the HK 14715.
FWIW the BM HKs are very reasonably priced for what you get. Why get a copy? Spring for the HK. One of the best values out there IMHO.

There are lots of rules, of which many are ambiguous and confusing. Don't feel bad about missteps. We've all made them.

Yeah those BM HK knives are really good and surprisingly cheap. I have one I am trying to sell right now actually. I would keep it but I'd like to stick to stainless steel blades,.

I used to own the 14716 in the coyote tan g10 and I highly recommend it. Definitely one of the best values on the market.
