In a last act of desperation that is what I did. I'm still not positive why because I have an S90V user and probably won't even use the blue, at least not for awhile. So now if I decide I want to trade it, I have to take a loss, or find someone else that wants it as bad as I did. I don't think it is a good investment at that price. If you like the knife and are going to use it, it may be worth it. But the S90V version is selling for just a little more and it retailed for over 50 bucks more.
 
I agree. If you really want to own it and use it, $199 is a fair price, but it's not a good investment at that price, if you define "investment" as likely to reach a price above your purchase price over some reasonable timeframe. Hey, enjoy it - life is too short. :thumbup:
