I bought this knife last year. I was in love with it but never paid attention to what model it was. Last week I lost it and I need another one. I've looked at all the kershaw's available but can't seem to find it. It was shaped like the shallot with a partial serrated blade and a black grip( maybe a g10). It was assisted open. I'm new to this stuff so please forgive me if I sound like a dip sh$*#

you need to put up a picture if you want help. look on the net to find a picture of it then post the picture here so we can help you out.

We'd all like to help you and that's why it'd help if we had a little more information about it. Do you remember how much you paid for it? Do you remember about how big it was? How it locked?

Ultimately, it's not a complete loss if we can't identify the exact model. Kershaw has a variety of other knives which would probably fill the void that this other one left.

Kershaw Vapor, Volt, or Leek? Need more info.

Was the blade coated? Do you know if it was 8CR13MOV, or 14C28N steel. Anything else you can add to the description.

Yeah, I'm going with a black serrated Shallot, 1840CKTST. :D

It's the closest thing to the description. What do I win?
