Help me find this knife.

Need some help guys. Had a knife years ago and can't remember the name. It was designed by some fellow that was famous for taking some long treks across the country on a horse. I guess the knife is a bowie or survival type knife with a finger hole for the index finger and saw teeth on the back. They are all serial numbered and there was a web-site that kept track of most of the knives sold. Not sure if they are still made but I know they were still being made not all that long ago.

Not much to go on but ring any bells?

Jefferson Spivey. The knife is the Spivey Sabertooth. I read a story in a big about him in a knife magazine and did some research online. Did you know that his knife is being used by a quite large group of soldiers over in Afghanistan and Iraq.
