I'll start this off by saying I am not really one for collections and am actually kind of a minimalist. If I do not use something for six months I get rid of it. But I am in the mood for spending money today so what the heck.
Right now I edc a Benchmade Mini-Griptilian and Leatherman Squirt PS4 on my keychain. When I am at work I also have a Leatherman Wave on me. And my backpack, which is almost always with me, has an ESEE 3 mil. That has been pretty much all I have ever needed for years. I also have a classic/basic Ka-Bar in short and the fixed blade Benchmade H20 for when I am paddling.
My 93 year old grandfather has always carried a Boker so am picking up a Beer Barrel Congress for those dressier occasions. And I thought while I was at it I might as well add a SAK Alox Pioneer, Opinel #8, and Mora. Any other blade I should consider for a well rounded collection to cover basic styles? Also I have a Estwing Hatchet and GB Scandinavian Forest Axe if you want to get into that too. Again this is just for fun, just stuff to keep around the house/ car/ throw in the toolbox or whatnot. By the way I am a small guy and tend to smaller and lighter on things. Thanks.
