Help me help you - Suggestions for the Knife Maker's Forums

Personally I really like things like they are, without having a bunch of subforums. I learn alot reading threads that don't necessarily pertain to anything I'm doing, but catch my eye as I'm scrolling through. If I had to go through 4 or 4 forums I might not see them all.
I'd like to see a link to the makers for sale section still in the normal exchange so people still know where our stuff is. I haven't looked at how the number of hits has been since the change, but I'd like it to be easy to find.

I'd also like the links for makers/manufacturers separated on the the main page (www.bladeforums.com) so that I don't have to click through so many screens when I come back here from another site. It initially leads to manufacturers and then you have to click on the makers icon again. Made it hard to find my way in the first time.

I can do that.

I agree with putting the for sale by maker back in the exchange. I look in the exchange area often and sometimes if I am in a hurry it is the only section I will view. Since it has changed, I often forget to look in the new area. More than likely, it won't be another maker shopping for these knives; I would imagine it is most likely general traffic. With more general traffic in the exchange area and better visibility, knives will sell faster and, by design, more should appear for sale. Basically, I think moving it may end up killing it. Just my thoughts.
