I bought this knife years ago and would like to buy another for my stepfather. Its about 13 inches total length and has some good weight to it. There are no markings I can find. I remember when I bought it people were saying it was a good all around knife and not very expensive, maybe $100 or so. Any ideas?

I can see the pics.

I'm pretty sure someone here can identify it. I'm not a fixed blade guy but that profile seems familiar even to me. Just can't put my finger on it.

It's an original Ontario ranger Rd-6
Designed by Justin Gringrich

The newer versions are a bit different, but overall very similar. They are tough, cheap knives made by a good company in the USA.

Edit:: this knife is actually done by Justin from Ranger knives. This is before he let Ontario knives produce his designs. Ontario does manufacture their version of this knife still, with minor changes to the lanyard hole and overall silhouette. I'm not sure if Justin still makes this model or not.
