Help Me Name a Knife! ***Winner**

Sticking with your other versions they seem to have the word Jack in them so I'm going to say Columbia Jack after the Columbia River or River Jack. :)

I'd say keep it locally inspired and go with Willamette or Kalapuya.

Great looking knife

I don't know why but the moment I saw it I could only thought about COAL MAN JACK or MINER JACK

go figure...

This is one the 'houndstooth' frame right?

But it's far more rugged looking than its kin, so I'd call it the 'Sabretooth Jack'.

OR keeping with the trapper/mountain man theme....but from a Eurasian angle, a 'Sable Jack'.

the shape is sinuous and there are plenty of beavers in Oregon and I think "beaver jack" sounds cool and evokes woodscraft so that's my pick

Interesting Thread, and thank you derrick for the chance.
I knew immediately that the name Jack had to be in the name, and to me, my knives are my faithfulls, I know it sounds a bit silly, but it has a good old ring to it....

The FAITHFULL JACK

What a good thread, you're going to make somebody a happy camper. :)

The Paul Bunyan ( Jack )
Spear of Destiny ( Jack )
The Lewis & Clark ( Jack )
The Balto ( Jack )

Not sure why, but the name that popped into my head when looking at the picture is "Settler Jack"

I like it, anyway ;)
