Help me pick a 4" folder

Definately the 710 or the Mili. The Endura is also nice, but not as heavy duty.

I have to disagree somewhat.
The 710 is probably the strongest of the three with its steel liners and G-10 handle and Axis-lock.

But I would say that the Endura 4 is stronger than the Military since the E4 has dual steel liners while the Military has but a single steel nested liner.

I also think that liner-locks are much more likely to fail while twisting than a lock-back.

I must say, my endura3 is the single knife I've abused/used the most without "any" problems, and I've used the hell outta it. For the price, if that's a concern, get one. -But, my endura3 has no liners, and, though, perhaps, in the minority, I perfer the 3 to the 4. -Liter, smoother, pointier. -No need for the up grades. When I first held the new 4, I just had to have one. -Totally upgraded. But, those upgrades were totally unessessary in my opinnion. To me the only new feature I really care for is the thumb grip serrations. -But that's just me.
I, would consider how "tough" of a knife you realy need to have. Toughness is great, but comes at a cost. You may or may not want to consider ease of carry (weight/thinness), and ease of sharpenning/edge retention, (steel). If you plan on stabbing or poking/using the tip, with the knife, you may want to see the 710(axis) as the best option.

With the reputation that the Endura 3 has, the Endura 4 is a serious knife to consider. At the street price it can be had for, it is a knife with no bells and whistles and is made for working.

Benchmade 710. One of my all-time favorites. It does just about everything well. As someone else suggested, if you can find one with an M2 blade, snap it up right away.
