Help me pick a camping / survival knife

Though all the knives recommended are terrific choices for your consideration, please don't spend a dime until you've handled them and determined for yourself what the best choice for your purchase and use should be. Once you've handled them, then you can focus more on the type of steels used, how easy they are to sharpen etc. Others personal preferences don't mean a hill of beans if it doesn't fit you and your abilities.
