Help me pick a small production fixed blade for IWB carry...

I would pick a heavy duty folder and let it ride in my front pocket...

I wear dress clothes to work and it's how I roll...

Seems like a PIA to have to carry IWB
 
I think this is one of those cases where you might clear the fixed blade carry thing with the Administration. Knife carry is situational. If I carry a SAK into a prison, clearly the inmates and probably the prison staff would view it as a weapon. On the other hand, carrying the same knife to the grocery store would not likely be considered a weapon unless for some reason the knife was used as a weapon. Risking your job potentially over this doesn't seem like it rises to the standard.

+10 I totally agree with you! :thumbup:

Folder is easier to conceal, deploy with proper frequent training, explain & doesn't attract unwanted attention from both leo's and civilians alike!

PS if school has metal detectors at the door, and you are carrying fixed blade IWB, just imagine security guards rection when they find it on you:eek::confused:
 
Here in PA we have such vagueness in our law we can carry almost anything concealed or open (no autos or daggers and in Philly not even a SAK). That said, if you find yourself on the wrong side of the law that knife that was legal can become illegal real quick. That said, schools are a very clear no go. Thankfully we have a very good gun law (still no go at school) too. In fact, with my license I can carry my concealed gun in Philly but not a SAK. Go figure.
 
Well don't get crazy! I'm in construction and sometimes people have referred to some of my edc blades as pocket swords lol. I have very few sheeple friendly blades.

As I get a little older though (and not in the job site ) I find myself carrying 2 blades.
1 for sheeple = spyderco diad(or something non-aggressive )
1 for the other wolves= A zt 0452, o560, bm bedlam, bm onslaught all big folders)
