Help Me Pick a Stabilized Wood

I'm having a folder made and am trying to choose a wood for the scales. Could you offer suggestions. Thankyou

Here are a few pics of my knives with several different and beautiful woods:

Here's a pic of some beautiful California Buckeye.

This one has Thuya burl.

Although this picture stinks, the folder has a desert ironwood inlay.

Heck, I like 'em all, but that buckeye one really does it for me.

Ironwood, buckeye, maple, koa. But remember that each piece of wood is different. If possible, have the maker scan you some samples so you can see what you are getting.

I'm partial to desert ironwood. Hard to imagine how they can stabilize this stuff, but I know they do. Incredible variety of figure and color.
