Cold Steel Pocket Bushman is the beastliest knife I know. Not expensive.

If you just want size, the Cold Steel XL Espada (Espada XL?) is hard to beat.
There are some sword-sized balisongs out there, but I don't think they're easy to get in the States, and probably out of your stated price range.
Like whp said, the Cold Steel 4Max is a popular contender for "beastly" knife.
Although the Extrema Ratio RAO should also be in this discussion.
