Help me pick my next Spyderco...

Ok, so far the best suggestion seems to be the Centofante 3, followed by the Stretch ( which is not really the same price range as the Endura), and the Tenacious. I am not terribly fond of China made knives, even though I know the Tenacious is a quality knife, but I will put the Centofante 3 and Stretch in my ad. If anyone thinks of something else let me know, Thanks,
Bruce

The Centofante 3 is the best choice of current production models based on your criteria. The VG-10/FRN Stretch is discontinued but very much what you're requesting as well. If you can find one on the secondary market, that would be great. The Centofante is not FFG, but the blade is so thin it slices as well as any FFG I've owned. Any time I've known someone who loves the Kershaw Skyline I've always told them that they owe it to themselves to try the Centofante 3.

You might even want to wait for the HAP40 stretch, which is going to be sweet.

There is another great folder that comes close to your criteria, but its about 10 dollars more than the Centofante3, and its called Spyderco Pacific Salt H-1 (if you dont mind the rustproof steel).
Here is a direct link to the product. If you scroll down, you can click on the specification tab to see the specs: http://www.bladehq.com/item--Spyderco-Pacific-Salt-H-1-Knife--8214

I think the Pacific salt is a little too big, as I think it is very close to the Endura in size.

Spyderco Centofante3 Folding Knife 3-1/8" VG10 Plain Blade, FRN Channeled Handles - C66PBK3 looks to be right around the spec OP mentioned. Here lies the spec (from KnifeWorks description):

Length Overall: 7 9/16" (192 mm)
Length: Closed: 4 1/2" (115 mm)
Hole Diameter: 1/2" (13 mm)
Blade Length: 3 1/8" (79 mm)
Cutting Edge: 3" (76 mm)
Blade Thickness: 5/64" (2 mm)
Blade Steel: VG-10
Weight: 2.5 oz. (71 g)
Handle Material: FRN
Made in Seki-City, Japan

It's under $70.00 @KnifeWorks. I apologize for the prior fixed blade recommendation. I couldn't help but to share it :D
I don't know if you are seeking or prefer certain blade steel material, but I've heard good feedback with this folder.

Yes! I agree, excellent knife. It was my EDC for a long time before I retired it. You will forget it is in your pocket. You won't be disappointed.

If the Endura is too big, and you have your eye on the Stretch, it should be noted that the Stretch isn't much smaller than the Endura. The Endura is a little longer and the stretch is a little fatter.

you can get a manix 2 anywhere from $75 to $100+. If you want something special and extremely smooth, I recommend the Sage 3 CF for around $130. If that's too high, then Centofante, great knife but the pivot is riveted.

Another vote for the stretch! Absolutely fell in love when I got one in hand. The more I use, the more I like!

I'm with KaguyKenji. If you keep an eye on the forum Exchange there are some great deals on Manix 2 LW. You should be able to add a LNIB knife for pretty close to what you can buy a new Endura for from a dealer.
