Okay, I give up. I've owned all the high end production folders from Spyderco, Benchmade, et. al and haven't found the perfect folder. The Spyderco Caly 3 CF/ZDP comes pretty close though.

I've owned Sebenzas in the past....mostly small ones and a couple of thelarge. I recognize the Seb's superiority of fit/finish. No doubts about that.

I'm going to downsize my collection shortly and am looking for the ultimate small Seb or something similar.

Help me out guys. I think I need the best small Sebbie. Which one is it? Or, put another way, which is your favorite small Sebenza?

Thanks.

I bought a large one first (blue leather/classic) and the next CR I bought was a small/classic/plain. I think I like the large one better, the blade's <4".

My fav is the one I EDC... a plain small regular S30V Sebbie. No inlays, no graphics... just down and dirty tough. She works in the warehouse, she goes to the woods, she does chores around the house. Never makes a fuss about anything and still looks good enough to go out to dinner or to church.

I have a large classic dog paw and my wife has a small classic dog paw, but the small regular with plain Ti handles is what I have with me all the time now.

for looks, I love the beautiful inlays I have seen here (soon to have one in hand!!) but for a user, I don't think you could go wrong with the standard model. I prefer the small.

Well since you asked what my favorite small Sebenza is; here you go:

I had a small classic bocote wood inlay Seb. I traded it off, then obtained a small regular CGG.

Long story, short, I found that I preferred the small classic, so I traded my regular CGG for it. Funny thing is, the small classic I traded for, turned out to be the same one I had traded off a while back.

I now use that small classic bocote wood inlay Seb. I might get another, but this one's my user.

I love the look of the demascus bladed ones, but for a user, I like the small classic wood or micarta inlay model.

Good luck with whatever you decide to get.

My EDC and favorite is the small regular Sebenza. No inlays, just two slabs of titanium and one of steel. It is thinner in the pocket that my inlaid one. Two years now and the only real scratches are on the clip where I rub against things.

As a matter of fact, I have a Damascus blade on order for this knife
