Then there's this very nice CASE Medium Stockman in Chestnut Bone and cv. This has a Pen blade rather than the usual Spey.

The 35 is nice too such a hard choice between the 3

Even tho I love the way the way cases look soecifically the stag versions they offer none of my favorite cover materials in CV for some reason except the amber bone so I'll think I'll go with @WillPower's suggestion (or the new deep canyon bone it looks very good but still SS) but I'll get the medium and everyone seems to love GEC so I think I'll get the #43 micarta or if I can find the in stock and two bladed 78 elderberry jack. Thanks everyone for your helpful advice I appreciate it

I thought Queen was a GEC spin off company too ?

No! Queen pre-dated GEC by decades. Two key figures at Queen Cutlery - Bill Howard, Ken Daniels left Queen to set up GEC in 2006. They then parted and Daniels took over Queen in 2012. Unfortunately, Queen Cutlery ceased trading in February of this year, future uncertain. Queen made a lot of contract knives though as well as its own range, used stainless, carbon and D2 steels.

Good to see you've settled on a choice, good luck with the Traditional mania ;)

Thanks, Will

Thanks for the history that's cool. Ordered the CV stockman you recommended and a deep canyon bone bc I couldn't help myself and just over $100 isn't bad for two knives. Next one of the GECs :D. Oh and another question
For you (off topic) the boker stockman the spey has made a big scratch up and down the blade from the sheeps rubbing it and the back has a noticeable gap they said they'll take it back and send me another one. But do you think it's really worth it to have to pay to ship it there plus their $15 fee?
