Help me pick the right wood for this build.

Honestly there really isn’t anything I like about Purple Heart.
But hey, that‘s just me. don’t let me stop you from using it if it’s something you like!

You asked for thoughts. Personally, I like ironwood, cocobolo, and mesquite the best for knife handles because I don’t like dyed wood. I was just thinking of color contrasts. Good luck with your build.

Thanks for reminding me about them! I’ll probably go with that route.

you can polish the hell out of it im using a wood here in Hawaii thats a cousin to iron wood. its hard as nails

Hey y’all thought I’d show you what I ended up with:

(Sorry for the sub-par photo, I just used a phone) It’s stabilized B&W from Arizonaironwood, I think it’s gonna look great!
