I'm lookin to add the next knofe to the collection. I know that these aren't the best knives out there but these are the two I am looking at, and have many others. I am looking to get a boker kwaiken regular or mini size or a zt 808. I like the boker because it reminds me of like a katana sword just pocket size, and I just like the zt 808. I want the smoothest opening knife. Also do you think the mini kwaiken is too small or just right. It looks to be the same size as a kershaw leek which is kinda small.. I'm sure il probably end up with all three but help me get started :)

I do like the zt I would probably get a anodized one from bladeswelove off ebay. My 0900 is prob one of my top three fav knives cause of how smooth it is. And I used to hate how the kwaiken look but it grew on me. Anyone that actually owns one or the other?

The 808 is a favorite of mine. Just got a Boker Kwaiken Mini (polished g-10 version). I like the Boker very much. It fills the same spot as my Enzo Birk 75, but is a tad smaller and lighter. I'll carry it a lot.

I love my 808. They look awesome anodized, great flipper and it comes razor sharp out of the box!

The zt808 is a great knife. But if you want a mini sword, check out the zt 450 & 452cf.

You guys aren't making it easy on me. I was also looking at that 450 ( bflying) I really don't want to end up buying all four :/ I mean I do but my wallet doesn't ha

Start with the one that appeals to you the most!

Buy the one you like the most first. Your gonna buy them all eventually. I'm partial to ZT's.

Do what I do

Write some of the knives you want and assign them a number

Then roll a die

Then order whatever it lands on

The Boker looks cool, but imho the ZT looks better. ZT has a pretty awesome product design in most of their knives (0888, 0999, etc). I would buy them if it weren't for the frame lock (absolutely nothing wrong with this lock by the way, works fine, i just don't like it because it is too asymmetrical).

I see three options for you:

1) Go with the ZT 0808, looks slightly than the Boker Kwaiken regular imho

2) Check out the Boker Kwaiken Plus instead. Pretty much a combo of the kwaiken and the ZT, with the sick blade shape and the titanium silver handles that match the blade

3) Add up the price of each ($100/$140 for the kwaiken, $200 for the ZT 0808, and $160 for the ZT 0450) = $460-$500. Bam, new budget

Lol I did order the ti plus one and I'm going to order some stabelized wood off ebay and make some scales for it, then I'm goin to get the 808

I have never been disappointed by a ZT I used, so I would say get the ZT.

Both are GREAT choices!
