Hey guys and gals of the poarch!

With all the fun were having with the 2018 knife votes I decided to run a poll of my own. I have a Great Eastern Cutlery #15 radio knife with the crown lifter. I have decided to have @glennbad re-cover the knife! The original knife is in knife brite. Not a terrible cover. But something I'm not exactly in love with for a "grail." One vote to rule them all. I'm gonna let it run a week. I have some time, Glenn has a lil wait list! But I am excited!

I'm putting it up to vote....here are the choices:
SUNSET CARVED STAG BONE

Or
SUNSET ABERDEEN BONE

Or
MAHOGANY ABERDEEN BONE

THANKS FOR HELPING!!!

Go with the sunset Aberdeen. It looks like a circuit board, which=electricians knife.

Also, on the 15 frame that extra detail will pop more!

Never thought about that....I just like em all!! That's why I'm asking you guys! Thanks for the input!

All three are great.

As they look now, I'd go with sunset Aberdeen bone - I love how that looks! I agree the stag bone is awesome too, but the Aberdeen may suit your knife size better. Nit picking though.

Can't go wrong!

Sunset Carved Stag Bone.
The Mahogany Aberdeen looks a bit dark and depressing to me.
It was a tough choice between the Sunset Carved Stag Bone and the Sunset Aberdeen Bone.
I think the Stag Bone will give a better grip, so chose it on that basis.

If I we're going to recover my 110 aluminum, it's the first, carved stag, I'd go with. Some day.

The middle one, the sunset Aberdeen. The stag bone is nice, but might not look right on the smaller #15, and I just didn't like the mahogany at all.

Any idea how wide the grooves on that carved stag bone are? I like the looks of it, but I'm afraid those grooves might be too wide for the #15 (I'm assuming that sample piece is quite a bit wider than the scales would be on a #15). If that's the case, and you'd only get a couple of those grooves on the finished knife and therefore lose a lot of the interesting character of that carved stag bone, then I would go with the Sunset Aberdeen Bone... which is what I voted for. :D

All fine options, but something about the sunset Aberdeen bone really speaks to me.
I really like it....but I'm still waiting to see what the poll says. My problem is I like all 3 LOL

I'm not just but the bone slab is only 1 1/8 inch wide, so the groves should be okay...I'm not totally positive. But I think it would look great on a #15!
