Instead of ~$800 , how about ~ $80 ( sometimes $50 ) ?

Or you can spend ~$200 , if you shop around , and get the fancier version 4 Max .

Is the blade 10mm thick? Could you give a few examples of what you plan to cut?

Look at the Extrema Ratio RAO line. At only 6mm it's a real slicer but can also convert an oil drum into a camp stove. Italian too.
