I am looking to buy a light use knife, for whatever lighter tasks I may need it for. I am currently debating these three blades.

Kershaw Leek

Kershaw Shallot

Or Sgian Dhub.

Leek. It's a nice little knife for edc. It's the only one I've handled. Interesting that you have 2 folders and a fixed.

I am mainly interested in a good, small working knife. I am indifferent on the fixed or folder bit, so long as it serves my purpose.

Leek. I own many. I have given away many. It's the knife that got me into "nicer" knives, also the knife I often give to friends, right out of my pocket, in attempt to get them into "nicer" knives.

Leek is a great EDC, slicer, with a very pointy tip.

Shallot is very similar to a leek is build and function but has 1/2 inch more blade, a bit more spine to the blade, and more recurve.

Don't know anything about the 3rd option but can assure you you won't go wrong with either Kershaw...

Another vote for the Leek. Great, slim EDC knife. Since I got my first Leek (a composite blade one), it's probably been my single most carried knife.

The Leek and the Shallot are not that much different but the Shallot is bigger and has more curve to it. You will not go wrong with either, but the Leek is definitely the most popular!

I have four leeks, but i would prefer the shallot to be a main blade due to the larger blade size over the leek ( i like bigger knives). To be honest i couldnt wrap my mind around picking one when looking at the pictures, but as i said i would go all the way shallot.

If you like bone and Damascus, then I suggest the Endura Damascus and Jigged bone

The Damascus Leek is a fantastic little knife. I had one in my Leek collection but gifted it to a good friend who had been eyeing it for a while. Looking for another one myself.

As I've posted before, I don't own a Leek but have numerous occasion to use and handle a couple friends of mine own. They're composite blade models. And that wharnie blade is extremely versatile.

I am not a small or "delicate" knife guy but I remain impressed as hell by the Leek and recommend it a lot to those wanting an opinion like you.

The Leek, for what it is, rocks.

The Sgian Dubh, btw, is true Damascus. The entire setup is made in Sheffield, England.
