Help me to choose between three different knives?

Go with the leek. If you can find one, get a g10 handled one. They feel great in hand and are pretty light. The regular steel handled leeks are slim and a bit slick. My opinion. Of course.

The shallot feels much bigger / heavier than a leek. Also the pocket clip on my shallot didn't seem to function well. The knife fell out a bunch of times.

I'd go with the Leek. It's the smallest and most non-threatening to sheeple. I like the Shallot handle but there's a 1.2 ounce increase in weight and I hate recurved blades as well as heavy knives. If you're willing to consider going outside your three candidates, add the Cold Steel Mini-Tuff to your list. If you shop around you can still find them in sheeple-friendly colors, and in hand it doesn't look like you have anything but a fist with an extended thumb.

I have a Shallot just like that, and while I do like it, I would say get the Leek. I got a Leek for my father and he loves it, small and light and so usable.

Why do you prefer the Leek, may I ask?

It carries easier in pocket, the Shallot tends to ride a bit high and not as comfortable as the Leek. The Leek deploys a bit easier due to the shorter and lighter blade, the Leek is also a little bit easier to close one handed. If you are happy with a 3" blade then I think the Leek is a more versatile EDC folder than the Shallot.

Thank you! This was a very helpful, informational reply.
