Well I have been around for a month or so and have been trying to find the info I seek, but to no avail. Can someone please inform me of all the grinds and their differences, and what they are best used for. Flat, convex, scandi, and so on.
What are the easiest and hardest grinds for a newbie to do? I guess a flat is b/c that appears to be what everyone starts with. But I was wanting a bushie so I was looking at doing a scandi but wanted to know how hard it is. Is it too hard for a starter to do? It looks like it would be the eaisiest.
Also, can U (I did find this info but thought that it would be good to have it here for other new guys) define the parts of the knife. Ricasso, choil, edge and so on. Thanks to all and any who can help.
