Hello. I search service of heat treating and tempering of handmade blades.Who knows where it is possible to find the person or the company who is engaged in it?
I use steel O1,ATS34,CPM154CM, CPM S30V,154CM,BG42,D2.
Oleg.

O1 might be tricky but the others look to be no problem
the reall answer is there is a moving truck in you future to mthe shop talk

there is paul bos and i know more but off the top of my head i cant name them in cludign one in PA

I had Bos ht a a mnandi blade and he did great work at a reasonable price. That's who I would use because the man is a legend and brings out the best in steels.

Paul Bos is an excellent choice. He will be retiring soon, but I believe he's turning over operations to a gentleman who's been working with him for 10 years or so. Also, try Peters Heat Treating in PA.

Don't send it to just any heat treater that you find in the yellow pages you'd be disappointed. Bos and Peters are experienced in those steels and are known for their quality work.

I use Texasknife.com for heat treating air-hardening steels. I've always been happy.
