Heading down the interstate, past Philly, and onto Cape May for a little vacation. I thought (at the last moment of course) how cool it would be to pick up a Gunting on my travels, a nice new toy (met Bram and the NY Knife show and was Bramtized with the trainer)...
Anybody have any ideas where I might find a Gunting going south on the Interstate, or down towards Southern NJ (Cape May)??
Thanks!

Don't know of many specific places where you can get a gunting, but there are a few knife shops in NJ. But the better bet is in PA. I've been looking for some good knife shops around here, and a shop in Oxford Valley Mall is the only place with a good selection.
(Living in NJ all my life I only know of places with either cheap crappy knives, or someplace with almost no selection)

Kelt,
I'm sure that you probably won't be heading out that far west but I know that Country Knives of Intercoarse, PA., out there in Amish country had Guntings in stock back in March. Not only did they have the Gunting but they also have the trainers too. I got a great demo, on the trainer of coarse, on the use of implementing the BG's arm as a way of deploying the blade from Jean (co-owner/wife) herself.
They are very nice people and the store is absolutely incredible!!!

Maybe you could take a little detour out to Amish country. (You know, for the family of coarse)
You could have them drop you off at Country Knives and then they could head down the road (a couple of miles) into Intercoarse for their shopping needs.

I understand that practice is quite common. They told me that the record drop off was something like 6 hrs before the family came to pick up the husband. They said that he never complained. Go figure.
