Help on Custom Knife maker.

Does anyone know anything about Custom Knifemaker Robert E. Hayes?

1974 he was considerd "Americas new premier knifemaker" a quote from Knife Digest. he was a maker from Rail-road Flat, CA. He started making knives in 1962.

All of his work was very clean. Crisp grind lines and beautiful finish. I am really suprised that you never hear much about him. His work was not inexpensive either. I actually thought his work looked better than D.E. Henry's.
