I have a custom made knife from cousin of mine that passed away shortly after I got this as a gift. I LOVE the knife and sheath but it's starting to sgow some what I assume is rust along the blade. I'm unsure what type of steel he used but it's just not gonna stand up to the yest of time, I'm afraid.
Any ideas of what to polish it with to remove the corrosion without damaging the finish?

Not sure what this was doing in the AKTI subforum, but moving to Maintenance. Welcome to Bladeforums, lucky musket.
