Help please

I have some 1/8" A2 precison ground and I want to grind some small - 2.5" blade - utility knives. Could someone describe the air cooling process? Do I need heavy plates for small blades such as these?

No you dont need plates, you can just cool in air. the blade will need to be place in foil for HT typically in a oven. If this is not something you can do you can send it out for HT I send mine to Paul Bos.

Take a look when they come out of the oven, if bent you can straighten if careful.
