Help Run St. Jude! WINNERS POSTED!!! See Post 47 - THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

That SAK will find itself a great home and shall be carried, used, and ever appreciated.

Thank you ever so much to all those who donated and to Brett who put all this together for a great cause.

Congrats to the winners but more important congrats on the amount of money raised for such a great cause. Just goes to show what a great community Blade Forums is and the character of the OP for hosting such a selfless GAW.

I could not have had this kind of gaw without the help of those who donated knives and theirs services. I know we would not had raised the amount we did without the contribution of those. Thank you to those made this give away happen. The gaw probably would had not even raised half of the amount reached without your help. I really do appreciate you all.

I appreciate the kind words and wishes as well. The community here on the forum is what we make of it and you all are proof there is goodness and charity within the threads. I would not have joined if it was not for the community. I would have simply read the threads, gathered the knowledge I want, and moved on. However, folks of your caliber provide an environment that is inviting and knowledgeable.

Thank you to the mods and Bladeforums for allowing this gaw to happen. The leading edge of knife discussion is also the home of some of the best people out there and the mods keep it that way.
All the winnings have been selected and I will have them mailed out asap and shoot the tracking numbers to those I am mailing to.

Thank you again for giving!! May we all find ways to continue doing so during a time that needs a little light and charity.

Merry Christmas.

Today is a sorrowful day for me, I lost my beloved JRT. In the darkness of my day, I got the shining light that this thread inspired in so many of us. As I grieve, I have this beacon of hope. When I replied to KBA, I said 'even I need an uplifting sometimes' and this thread did just that; moreover, the bonus was winning the knife I would have chosen. This knife couldn't have come at a more appropriate time. I will always love you BB, you were my pal, my pet, my hunting terrier, my life for over a decade. R.I.P. BB (Betty Boo).

Thanks, KBA, I wouldn't have ever guessed what this knife means to me now.

Peace, Todd
