Yes, that's the way they turn out when done by hand sanding. The grind lines become softer around the flats. Which will help it cut better. I'm sure the hollow grind has been thinned some, also a plus. The serrations are your call but to me it didn't look to need them. Good job. DM

^Yep. agree with David. i wouldn't try to put serrations on it. to me it looks fine and should cut well enough as is....your call though, Sir.
