Help! Small Sebenza v Bradley Alias II

Damn well it is a good choice. If you didn't buy it, I might have!

After having handled both knives, Sebenza is the better one, but in my opinion, Sebenza does not justify the huge price difference.
 
The Sebenza might cost twice as much and not be twice as good, but I still consider it to be better, even one of the best, and if better is what you want, a higher price is something you'll have to get over. Even if that price isn't necessarily fair.

Alternatively:
The Sebenza isn't always better than the Alias - that's a matter of user preference - but the Alias will always be an imitation of the Sebenza.
 
Ive got 2 alias II...bought them at the same time.I went back and forth

about buying the Bradleys or a lg. sebezna...I should have bought the seb

instead.

Bradleys are a good quality knife but no CRK.Ihave a few CRK now and

dont carry the Bradleys at all(Id like to sell them).Id rate quality of the

Bradley about 2/3 of the CRK.....its the little things that make the CRK

much better IMO.
 
Clockman, you've got the exact insight i need! I've already ordered my Alias II and im excited for its arrival, but i fully intend to by a sebenza. My collection (and my pocket!) would be incomplete without one - the deal on my alias was just too good to pass up and i dont really have a good edc as of yet :/
 
There's a good vid on YouTube comparng the small sebenza and alias 2. The blade grind on the alias is more robust and you can flick the alias ii open lightning quick.

If you want a more tactical, hard use knife, the alias ii is probably the way to go. The sebenza is about pride of ownership, fit and finish and overall aesthetics (obviously subjective.). Resale on the sebenza is going to be great today or 10 years from now. you'll likely be able to get the knife refurbished by Crk 10 years from now. Not sure I could say the same thing about the Bradley. I'm sure it is a solid company, but it just doesn't have the crk trAck record or following.

Reread my post. I didnt say the sebbie wasn't a hard use knife. I agree it is a tank.
Relatively speaking though, the Bradley is more robust due to the blade grind. Is this keyboard warrior talk? Of course. If you disagree , please explain why the sebbie is a better tactical and/or harduse knife *relative* to the Bradley.
